I love your highly detailed tutorials - they help make the ZiboMod B737X the best study aircraft ever on X-Plane 11.

Thank you very much for the stream, I have learned so much from one of your videos. From starting at the end of the runway into take off and finish on landing. I have now progressed to on stand and running through check lists to take off, ILS approaches and shut down. Now furloughed for 12 week this will give me the time to get more into flying my sim. Keep up the streaming and stay safe

Hello, nice video again. But can you anywhen explain how to manage a speed restriction given by ATC in descend ( VNAV/LNAV on) but WITHOUT SPD INTV knob? Thanks a lot Matthias

Just going to say it now. If your looking for a flawless seamless shared cockpit experience... don’t bother, as good as smart copilot is, it is still rammed with little quirks and bugs. All my scenery was the same as my mates we where landing at Munich on vatsim... crashed on landing and had to tell the controller we had done so. Very embarrassing. On a more light hearted side I bet your lass was surprised that you’d managed a butter for once well done cpt.😂😜

Great stream! Because you had an 11kt tailwind, would you have used VREF+11 in real life? I'm not sure if you have to assume the wind will drop to 0 at any point during final
@piotrkuler24744 жыл бұрын
For tailwind u just add minimum, which is 5 kts . for headwind you add half of headwind component.

Good video - very enjoyable. Question - when you put in the runway heading or 030, you put in on the panel 026, where do you find this information on the charts? unless i need bigger glasses - thank you.

This answers my own question from awhile ago, whether one can just do one's own vertical profile/GS without using ILS or RNAV, or on a LOC approach (LPV) only, or whatever. I haven't attempted it, but I figured there was a way to do such an approach, especially in a difficult terrain approach, etc. If you have LOC guidance, you can always turn off the VNAV and use V/S to do a descent. Or, in a smaller craft, just use V/S to descend, etc. Of course you have to use the A/P to do it, that's obvious. But what happens at Lanzarote when the weather is crap and the visibility is really awful, and/or at night?
@piotrkuler24744 жыл бұрын
Mda is quite high : 2020ft so even with poor weather You are safe. For non precision approach You can use vs but then you cannot fly to lnav vnav minima, instead you are limited to lnav minima. Use of vnav is standard.
@thiscorrosion9004 жыл бұрын
@@piotrkuler2474 I see, that is very interesting indeed. I guess with this approach you'll know early if you're going around, that's for sure. If you don't nail that V/S and you're high at all coming over that hill, you're going around!

Just caught up with your stream, great and informative stream as always! Have you tried a Toncontin landing yet? Oh and I don't remember Skymatix having those loud problems with Vatsim, I could be wrong there though.
