Liscombe is in Somerset not Devon, and the "Hound of the Baskerville" was based on Dartmoor not Exmoor but apart from that .....Well as long as you are armed with totally unsporting 34 inch barrelled anti-aircraft guns with Monte-carlo cheek pieces (normally the preserve of women) rather than a pair of 28 inch side by sides like a real gentleman, or a 30 inch O/U, well guess what? You can kill every single bird over your head and the soulless local "feather factory " will be ever so pleased with the commercial result. Yes I am aware this comment will be deleted as soon as it has been read, but at least a certain person will realise what the vast majority of us real sportsman throughout the UK really think, because I find wherever I go in the top echelons of shooting world, my sentiments are very much shared. By the way I live and shoot in Devon.

Why would anyone want to delete such interesting comments as this, thanks for correcting the hound of the Baskerville location at least it puts you in the same era as me, I have to correct you tho I don’t shoot 34” barrels and I am quite at home shooting a sxs or 28gauge or even the little 410!! I enjoy all calibres that suit the appropriate game situation, have a great Xmas and thanks for the opinionated comments, I do not delete anything as every one has their own outlook on game shooting 👍

Thanks for the Geography lesson however Dave Carrie is a great ambassador for all Country sports and a threatened way of life, if you want to continue shooting your gentlemans 28 inch side by sides you are going to need all the help you can get.
