Vets I agree but we have platoon lite, not as good as 2nd-7th but MUCH BETTER than 8th and 9th

@@TheRogueTrader 20 guys + 5 command squad + commissar : it’s basically 2x 10 strong squads and a platoon command squad which was the minimum we just don’t get the extra stuff

My steel legion army is trying to do the same but on a 2k list, just rolling out chimeras midboard and dropping scions in the back line trying to pincer

OFFICER models can issue Orders in your Command phase and at the end of a phase in which they disembarked from a TRANSPORT or were set up on the battlefield. So you can disembark and then do orders at he end of the move phase, if i understand this right.

Love the list! Only note I have is that the Castellan and Psyker both cannot lead a unit of Kasrkin. They're not battleline and therefore can only have one leader attached.

I always get one thing wrong, every video. I got my wires crossed and forgot Kasrkin don't get the same leader benefits as the Battleline units.

When you do the artillery one(no I can’t remember the name anymore) you should do two lists with tactics. One with the standard basilisks and the other with the field ord battery’s

Karskin are locked to 1 leader per unit. I would argue for a commisar instead of the castellan.

Hey Steel, i just tried this today with Sisters od Battle. Since the points came uo to 990, i added a death mask onto my Castellan. The army is very thematic and the Kasrkin hitting on 2's is very fun. I managed to take down some Paragon Warsuits with the Melta Cannons and a Melta Mine. Reinforcements came in clutch, but can be risky since you need to wait till turn 2. The squad i revived stayed at the sergeant surviving a penitent engine and arco flagellant.

That is fricking awesome! Sounds like it was a fun game. Did you get a chance to shoot out of the back hatch much to harass the Sisters that way with your Melta or Plasma?

@@CadianSergeantSteel Unfortunately no - my friend popped all of my chimeras and my HQ chimera had to stay behind for secondary missions. By doing that - my psyker rolled a 1 on the hazardous roll immediately...

For holding ground/killing tanks: Throw in 2 field gun batteries for indrect fire, a pair of Vanqs, maybe three because they wreck when they hit, and then what? 500 or so points worth of guard squads to hold rear objectives and screening?

Looking forward to the 1000 point exporters fist leman Russ company, fluffy and I think underrated (it’s so un meta it’s meta ;) ) Edit : one tank commander (demolisher as it’s only 5 points more than standard demolisher for a commander) , 3 x 170point tanks ( battle tank, exterminator, executioner, I think there’s more ? ) 2 chimeras and 2 catachans is my go to fluffy tank company / platoon list as that comes to 1000 points . Want 2000 points ? Add more tanks !

Your Cadian Veterans just need some crotch protectors and some bent copper wire going from their battery well to their backpacks to become kasrkin. Nothing a bit of greenstuff/milliput and some wire won't fix!
