@@tammyirwin703 part of the problem is that even if we did have her location, I have the feeling Lori thought far too much of herself to get her hands dirty. The state is doing a great job imo showing Lori had knowledge of and encouraged these murders, but I feel like trying to physically link her to them is barking up the wrong tree. She's a total princess and got Alex the "protector warrior" and sometimes Chad to do the dirty work. I doubt she was there when any of them were killed except maybe Charles, and she doesn't have to have been there to be guilty of the charged crimes. That defence attorney has absolutely zero clue about genomics and science in general. The witness should have pointed out that we also share about 96% of our genome with chimps. There's a reason why we don't look at that 99% of DNA when identifying someone by genetic information. The part that makes the critical difference between people is basically the amount of a couple of sentences of an entire book, not even a couple of pages, to use the book analogue the attorney chose to use. Unlike Casey Anthony, Lori does not have a Jose Biaz public defender. Mr. Thomas's questioning in cross is very substandard. Since there is no chance of clearing her of the charges, he should not have cross examined the forensic witnesses. His defense will be (or should be) that her involvement in these deaths is due to her being under the influence of Chad Daybell. The defense would be to present the "wonderful," mother before meeting Chad, and the duped or "manipulated," mom after meeting Chad. In cross of forensic experts Thomas is drawing additional jury attention to the details of these 3 deaths. Thomas, also needs schooling in how questions should be asked. Never, ever give a witness choice between 2 options to respond to. Police interviewers make this same mistake. Example: Did you see xyz, or do you remember? Guess what the answer will be.

Thank you! I've been thinking something similar, and it's frustrating to only be seeing comments critical of Thomas's character, when obviously someone has to do this job.

Thanks brain, it really helps me when you throw an absolute shitfit whenever someone pronounces loci as "low-s(eye)" and not "low-k(eye)" or "low-key". Especially when I'm trying to pay attention to expert testimony. Especially when I've told you multiple times that "low-s(eye)" is jut one of the many, many ways English pronunciation conventions differ from what would be correct for pre-Ecclesiastical Latin. It's really cool of you to throw that shitfit in full every time the word "loci" is used in this testimony, which is multiple times a minute at best.

Due to the restrictions placed on the media by the judge, there is no streaming of even the court provided audio allowed (he didn’t allow any cameras whatsoever) so…the reporters have to sit in the 8-9 hour trial, live tweet, report throughout the day, livestream a recap of the key information and then someone had to download the court audio, reformat and then upload to KZbin (which can take a very very long time) at this point, I’m grateful to even have any sound bites.
