Oh Wow! I am So happy I came across this up lKZbin show! I am in my Late 50’s, I have scars on both arms from a boiling water accident when I was about 4 years old. I was not ashamed of my Scars until I was about 14…. Someone made fun of me and called me Kentucky Fried Arms!… Another time in my 20’s a little girl seen my arms and said eekkk look her Arms…Yuck!! It worked the opposite for me. Being myself was never accepted, but I refuse to turn myself into anyone else and whenever I did, I failed. So, I stop giving so much credence to others and started accepting my own truth and who I am regardless of who approves. Self love really is the cure. God is truly FAITHFUL when we honor who we are created to be and even when we don’t- it’s easier on us when we do, we work less!!!! Trust God!! Except for that part, our stories are VERY similar- mine a bit more extreme, but she was and is living my very first dream that was placed in my heart at a very young age (my parents killed it and it hasn’t been revived ever since) and I’m from Los Angeles County. Thank God for new dreams and more GRACE!!!!! So so so happy for Mrs. Tab. Keep going!!

Oh my god. I’m a screenwriter and at the part in my life where I dealt with depression and everything she described is what I went through - down to getting the headaches and trying to get my energy back, and feeling like because it’s not happening the way I dreamt it; it won’t happen. It’s a lot out here in these LA streets that will drag you down. This spoke to me. Everything down to subconsciously suppressing my accent in LA and hiding my hand. I was born a lil physically special. Anyways, thank you for this interview of Tabitha. I don’t ever need to meet this woman in person because her energy is felt from wherever she stands. Truly.
