the concept of shadow he's talking about here is the part of himself that he doesnt want to acknowledge, afraid to show. its like all the dark and ugly part of yourself, the fear etc, that you dont want people to see. it comes from a psychological concept from the book Map of The Soul by Carl Jung. basically the second part of this song is Yoongi's shadow talking to himself, saying he can never break off from that shadow and that shadow is a part of him, IS him. they're one body and he'll be at ease if he acknowledges its existence within him.

Yeah, he is very famous but at the end of the day he is still human. He still feels same emotions like any ordinary person. Yeah, there is MV for this song and in MV song is 1 minute shorter that is why it is someone write full edition here, bc MV was droped as a trailer before BTS album Map of the soul 7 come out, and when album was out this song was longer and fans were so happy 😉 (that happens sometimes when they drop trailers MVs)
