They sound warmer and more balanced here than they have to me in previous videos. I'd love to hear them with the 338 too. Thanks for doing this, as I have a special place in my heart for MA speakers with 5" woofers.
Here's another one. Try getting vocals like that from a digital source. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXqrkKeDqsyYfqs

@@davidcarr2216 You're wrongly attributing the sound of those fabulous JBLs being due to the vinyl part of the system. I could counter with a dozen or more female vocal performances from Diana Krall, Karen Carpenter, Jennifer Warnes, and many others, on Kenrick's own YT channel, where every video is streamed from an I- Pad. Here's but a single example. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYaYhGyNg6yKrq8

@@DougMen1 You’re right of course . I was just having a nostalgic relapse , after being involved with a discussion about vinyl with someone else, and I'm a little light headed since my daughter is getting married on 28th Dec, and she's just sprung it on me. Merry Christmas DM. The Audiophile Junkie did make an interesting point about the lossiness of vinyl and it’s high frequency smoothing effect. Then there are the mastering differences and the fact that nobody , to my mind at least , has ever come up with a truly accurate vinyl replay system. For example, cartridges are notoriously inaccurate. I like this Very Impressed version of I Left My Heart in San Francisco . The dude listening was obviously enjoying it as well 😀 kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3vJpGacgMmopMk I was just listening to that Halie Loren album this morning before I read your email. Great recordings also.

Super viideo comparisons, as I read before, it would do more justice if the instant comparison is made with the same part of the song for both items, also it would be great to give CHI-FI a chance to be tested, specially those late S.M.S.L. amps with Infineon chips.

Сould you sound test borea br03 with rega brio and nad c316bee?

why you never compared the NAD C316 BEE V2 with the Kilosch RP 600M? 😢
@williammiebach17982 жыл бұрын
I always prefered these more than the Bronze 100s, or disliked them less. I like them more than the the Klipshs RP600 MkII also, but they aren't quite my cup of tea. I'm not sure speaker phasing or image focus is totaly rock solid in either demo. 🤔

Compared to Adam A3X and Focal Aria 906, the Bronze 50 has less treble extension, which makes it sound a little dull and unnatural.
@ec684311 ай бұрын
The other two are objectively bright with artificially boosted treble.
@davidcarr22162 жыл бұрын
Bright and hyped up but not quite as bad as RP600M Mkiis. Too many HiFi speakers like this today.

They sound a lot more balanced and less tipped up on top here than they have in previous videos here, at least to my ears.

Toggling between these and the Triangles, they're very very close, with these being a bit more lively, punchy and dynamic, and the Triangles being maybe a bit more refined, but not as much fun.

@@DougMen1 I'll say that both the BRO3s and these have a hyped upper midrange but these more so and the BRO3s manage to sound a bit more mellow , partially because they have a bit more bass and possibly because of the drivers, I would speculate. Are you going to make me eat my words and put the Metas on the Nova 300, E, Sir ?

Agreed. Music to drill teeth by. I hate that tipped up balance.

This test clearly demonstrate what I have stated in other comment: A more expensive and usually better amp will allow even low end speakers to shine at their full potential. That NAD C 316BEE V2 is (very) weak amp. Should not be used to demo any speakers.
