+Geke Hop-Wassink Correct, i was there. It was on Friday 25th September. A week and a day ago. I wanted to go to the Cordoba gig too, but i couldn't due to working matters. Had they announced the 2nd gig in Argentina earlier than they did, i would've been there too. Anyway, it was a great concert.

+listener86 WOW great, I wish we could have been there together,too bad you couldn't make it to the Cordoba gig, but he, you were there, that's what matters, and thinking of us, making the video. I think they do a great job by putting images of Freddie in parts of the show. Thanks again and hope you had a night to remember a lifetime xxx

+Geke Hop-Wassink Yeah, Going to Cordoba would have been a plus actually. I am very satisfied with the Gig i attended at Geba, Amazing is the word!!! Yeah, i went to velez in 08 when they came with Paul Rodgers and i remember they did the Same thing during Bo Rap. They used the multitracks with Freddie s vocals from Rock Montreal. That works great because it sounds so clear that you think Freddie is indeed there.

I agree Sheri. It's due to the lead vocals for me. 😶 You may prefer listening to Marc Martel, if you like the original Queen sound. If you have not heard of him, Roger Taylor found him when he held a worldwide contest so that their original sound would live on through a band Queen formed themselves. Marc won as lead vocalist. Roger has said his likeness to Freddie's voice is uncanny, and that if he closes his eyes next to Marc while he is singing, it sounds as though Freddie is singing again, right next to him. Quite an honour. He gets quite emotional about it. Take a listen by googling Marc Martel. You may wish to start by viewing his performance for Celine Dion at her birthday performance. He was a surprise invited guest performer, as Celine loved Freddie's voice. She also got very emotional. Great performance of Somebody to Love. Watching her watch him and her range of emotions is priceless. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6XFZnSDoLx7odU

Please change Adan to Marc Martel, Adan is worst singer!
@elpatito84deluxe894 жыл бұрын
Why you are saying that
@pjmiller86324 жыл бұрын
@ElPatito- Quite simply because he is correct. Listen to Marc Martel sometime. Queen found him to sing in Bohemian Rhapsody for Freddie's parts and also held a contest to find the closest sounding singer in the world to Freddie. They found Marc. Because Freddie always stole the Queen show, they kept Adam as their guest singer rather than give up the spotlight again which they now enjoy without Fred or someone who sounds so much like him. Check him out on KZbin. If you liked Freddie's voice, you will love Marc's. Roger said it is like sitting next to his friend again if he closes his eyes and hears Marc sing. He said it is uncanny. He is right.

@@pjmiller8632 but adam is simply a good singer
@pjmiller86324 жыл бұрын
ElPatito 84 Deluxe I feel Adam's voice is not suited to rock music, at all. It lacks the rich depth that both Freddie's and Marc's voices have. Again, Queen enjoy their own spotlight now with no need of their own to have any reminders of Freddie's amazing and unique voice - which stole every performance. Why would they ever want to give up the spotlight now to someone who sounds like Freddie?... This is why they are fine with Adam. We are fortunate that they still play - yes - and also that Marc was found to sing in their former, familiar style. To me, Adam sounds like he is far more suited to sing musical theatre. That is also what Simon Cowell wisely said, and he knows a thing or two about music. If you enjoy Adam, that's great. We all are entitled to our own preferences and opinions. I just prefer Freddie and Marc's voices with Queen. Adam sings far too high for many of us and carries each note too long - like a female broadway singer does. Not awful - just not what I want to hear with a rock band.
