That’s why he stops when he realizes that Clover won’t give up too easily. He’d just be doing that forever and the idea bores him. The theory is that when Flowey absorbs the other souls, he’s putting all of them in a similar situation

i think i understand why megalovainia is indestructable now. Megalovainia was specifically designed for the Sans fight, and because said fight has cuts in the music during the second phase, it had to work well despite the fact that random sections of the song would be cut out.

The only reason this doesn't work as well as it could is because Undertale lacks sound effects for a lot of attacks (for example, Papyrus) Since fights in Undertale Yellow are loaded with sound effects from the attacks, putting them here makes them feel...weird when you see the attacks doing no sound at all

I feel like this works very well with Protocol and Apprehension for Papyrus and Undyne, because it embodies their characters and their dynamics. Papyrus really wants to be like Undyne and seems like a mini version of her in sense of these two themes, and the theme spirits really feel like these characters. Papyrus is just doing what the *protocol* tells him to - Catch the human. He hasn't thought much about why he does it, and can't actually do the tough part, which is killing, he can not bring himself to it. While Undyne is the opposite in the way that she knows what she has to do and follows through with it - she tries her best to *apprehend* you.

Personal thoughts and feelings: Napsterblook - Sounds a bit too energetic but has the feels Toriel - Heartache fits the scene better, Forlorn sounds different with the Flame SEs replacing Dalv's Lighting attacks Papyrus - 10/10 Mad dummy - Would've been better if the theme was longer but nice Undyne - Ngl the theme feels odd on the fight and chase sequence Muffet- Same as above, would fit if Muffet was a spider sheriff with guns and/or mechanics (and that wouldn't be muffet) Metatton - Axis theme fits well with Box Mettaton but for EX Death by glamour works well Asgore - Like the others say the song is mismatched and doesn't fit. On a brighter tone, the beginning of the Justice motif part goes really well with the fight and I kinda like it Flowey - The themes match perfectly; I wish AFTERLIFE was a bit shorter in order to loop perfectly but aside from that it fits PERFECTLY, probs because both are flowey. Best friends forever sounds more like having Justice than Determination and I like it as it is Asriel - Mother's Love LITERALLY has the Hopes and Dreams leitmotif in it. As for the rest of the fight it fits, but has different feels to original UndyneX - The fight feels more like clashing weapons with a Water/Fighting type than a True Hero saving the world but I'll take that Sanes - The first phase seems mismatched; probs due to not fitting Sons' character and because of the awesomeness of Megalovonio, but the Second Phase matches REALLY well with the music so I'll give it a yes

Wait, why did you give Box Mettaton Axis' Overworld theme? Also I think Unforgiving [An Unused Placeholder version of A Mothers Love which is pretty different] would be a good fit for Undyne the Undyne, and you could put Trial by Fury for the theme of Undyne's base form. OR you could put Final Stand in the place of BAATH [ANOTHER Unused Track, this time an Unused Martlet one, would fit a bit better than TBF, and you could maybe put that for Asgore, put Guns Blazing for Box Mettaton, and put Showdown for Mettaton EX. idk]

Not going to lie, methinks having Guns Blazing at the beginning of the mettaton fight, then after mettaton NEO is revealed having END OF THE LINE fade in would be sick as hell considering how END OF THE LINE is essentialy a metal remix of Guns Blazing i think it could work pretty well what do you think? I don't know, Enter Axis doesn't strike me as a "boss theme", it's more in the vein of Showtime where it's just for introducing a character Addendum Personally, I also think that A mother's love works best on Asriel's phase 2, having Trial by fury be on phase 1, then switching to the calmer intro of a mother's love (which, of course ramps up) helps with the tone of "hopelessness evolving into hope" during the fight.

It would do literally nothing Marlet barely got her attack sent from like 8 to 25 .so around 4 times stronger And her defense was higher Sans is already the weakest the serum would barely increase his attack to like 5 and even if we say he gets 25 attack like marlett still nothing Remember frisk has over 100 defense with the locket on sans would still deal 1 damage he doesn't ignore defense the Game is just made in such a way monsters MUST at least deal 1 damage when landing attacks And his defense frisk cut undyne the undying. Down at like half the LV they had against sans and undyne the undying has over double the defense Zenith marlett has At best it would recover sans's stamina and make his attacks harder but Stats wise its worthless

I feel like some of these themes actually really work well. Like Sans and Papyrus having simklar themes or Floweys theme. But some sadly dont work that well as I feel like the eastern part of Cerpbas Genocide theme dont match Undyne the undying. Also you could have used END OF THE LINE_ for the Mettaton theme. The more Metalic sounds used in that track fit him really well
