dark paradise is about a boyfriend that died. this is what makes us girls is about lana's troubled teenage years. she drank too much and got into so much trouble with her friends, that her parents sent her away to boarding school, hence the line "they were the only friends i ever had, we got into trouble and when stuff got bad, i got sent away, i was waving on the train platform, crying 'cause i know i'm never coming back."

Dark paradise - The song is thought by fans to be written about Del Rey's past lover K and his death, although this is not definitely confirmed. There are some themes in the track that can provide evidence to this theory, though. The song contains references to Del Rey's love of someone who has passed away, and her desire to join him.

I can’t wait for the rest of the videos in this series. Her music evolves over every album and you can clearly hear and feel the evolution. It’s simply amazing.

23:38 is so funny to me because "Lolita" is literally the name of black and white film from 1962 (and it's an adaptation of the novel that song was inspired by)

I feel so bad for you! Ultraviolence by Lana legit pulls your heart out, can’t wait to see your reaction!

I’m so jealous of people that start listening Lana. It’s like falling in love for the first time. Nothing beats that feeling

Omg i just remembered Taylor also says “one for the money two for the show” in I think champagne problems and said that too in one of her unreleased songs and I always thought it was a coincidence
