If you didnt know the album is an actual circle ..you can play the album on repeat and the last note goes in to the first song, thats why you get that weird cut off at the end of "once a day"..Mac was a genius.
@maxmaxxammax30118 ай бұрын
i always find it funny that Mac gets all the credit when Jon Brion said himself in an interview that it was his choice to put the track there, based on his response to what Mac did in the studio to him with this song and probably based on alllllll the work they did. Credits to both for sure tho for the best posthumous release ever!

@@maxmaxxammax3011 you are right, and I'm sorry I forgot to give credit to Jon Brion as well,..he did an amazing job.

Man I cried the whole way through the first time I heard this. The “making peace” theme was so apparent and then going back to Swimming made it hurt even more. Not only was he in the process of making peace with himself, but he was trying to tell us that if he can make peace with the cause and effect, that we can too, even if we aren’t ready to right now. Man I miss Mac.

It was supposed to be a trilogy of albums even though the two pieces, Swimming & Circles, are companions. The concept was Swimming in Circles Till Infinity (the third album). Swimming was a mix between rap and singing. Circles was mostly singing. The third was supposed to be mostly rap. Great to have experienced this journey with you on Mac Miller ❤😄

It has been a pleasure seeing you get to know all of Macs major projects aswell as reacting to the Kendrick vs. Drake beef lol I'd love to see you react to my favorite artist (besides Mac ofc), 070 Shake. I don't know if you know her. Besides of that one Tik Tok song she had with RAYE not many people seem to be familiar with her discography, which is a shame, cause her music is really special. So yes, check her stuff out, it's incredible! (for now she only has two albums: Modus VIvendi and You Can't Kill Me) Oh, and a fun fact: she is the female singer on Ghost Town that Kanye didn't give credit to lol

you’re awesome! I really appreciate you reacting to his projects. It’s a beautiful thing to see. Any chance you will be reacting to kids? It’s a really awesome body of work and it might be a bitter sweet ending to go back to the beginning. Also, there are tons of unreleased songs and works by him, including an Album/mixtape called Balloonerism, from the Faces era. I assume you wouldn’t be able to react to it given it being unreleased. But I think every Mac fan should check it out. Thanks again for this great series of reaction videos and have a lovely day! ❤

I feel bad because I never really paid attention to this kid or took him seriously while he was alive. Scrolling KZbin last year I came across his tiny desk performance and was really impressed. Went back and checked out a bunch of his stuff and really love swimming and circles, they’re very beautiful albums and have been in heavy rotation ever since. Got to give this kid props now. Funny thing is I was always in my mind like who is this dorky little white Jewish kid thinking he a rapper?! which is ridiculous because I grew up, loving the Beastie Boys and they’re dorky white Jewish rappers😂😂 turns out my mans was a G with 🔥🔥bars RIP Mac you was a true artist. PS I’m new to your channel but I subscribed so I’m not sure if you’ve seen that tiny desk performance but if you haven’t you gotta check it out ASAP and do a reaction on that. I’ve loved re-experiencing this music from the perspective of a first impression again through your reactions, it’s brought back a lot of bittersweet memories. I think if you appreciate seeing and hearing the growth and maturity of an artist then you would LOVE Tyler, The Creator! He went from shock rap and “Slim Shady Esque” type music to absolute art that compares to later Mac music. “Flower Boy, IGOR, and Call Me If You Get Lost” are all masterpieces. @storymodereacts
