"What do Crystal Beast need?" I mean, they need retrains and more names that actually can do something. Then they could turbo Rainbow Dragon and their Fusion with ease. But that might make the Fusion trap broken tbh. Perhaps they could benefit from a Infernity Barrier like card that helps with summoning RD, something like send 1 CB from S/T and 1 from Deck, or shuffle both into the deck but has a GY effect to search the Fusion Trap or let you activate it the turn it was set. Or a trap or handtrap that makes your cards (or only Overdragon) unaffected by Overdragon's effect and be used as the cost but you must also shuffle all cards in your GY/Banished but you must have 7 names in GY/Banished to activate and resolve the effect. That way they might have an actual archetype wincon.

When you think about the third pendulum scale, what my boy is essentially saying is that you have to add additional resources in your pendulum summons, by having one side, say the left dedicated exclusively to the extra deck, and the right exclusively to the hand, you'd have to set three scales just to get both.

Another pendulum fix, pendulum monsters used as material for an extra deck summon go to graveyard but if a pendulum monster is destroyed it goes to extra deck. This way you could release the arrow restrictions on summoned from extra deck since there would be less monsters in the extra deck.

I think that if something says "send to GY" (i.e. Forbidden Droplet) then the Pend Monster actually has to go to grave. This way, you could use cards with the restriction of needing something sent to GY, and thus keeping the Extra Deck from being an infinite resource.

Catching up with the OCG is cool and all. but a set every 2 months is insane. too many cards too fast. it would be very expensive to be a pro player during those times. Obviously slowing down the OCG isn't an option either, they need to make money selling cards. so here's my idea. a 2-3-3 rotation. we get the next set on the regular time, then the next set we get in 2 months, after that we go to the usual 3 months for the next 2 sets, then 2 months again, then another 2 sets in 3 months each, repeat. this way, we can slowly catch up to the OCG, without going too fast

The reason we don't have a third scale in the middle is because the middle of a Pendulum (which the mechanic is based off of) is either not moving at all or it doesn't do anything. If u move a ball to the left or the right attached to a plank via a string, letting go will cause the ball to swing. The ball will pass through the middle, but it will not stop at the middle and the go the other way. Just. It just makes Pendulums even worse.
