The great thing about this is that it's getting the USA interested in football. There are Americans who don't know anything about the Premier League but are now following Wrexham.

I agree with a lot that was said on this podcast. But one thing I do see a bit differently: the reason the EPL is so far ahead in terms of spending is not because they run their businesses better - at least it's not the key difference. The actual reason are (1) what you already said, the English language makes Marketing Match days much easier and (2) the openess for huge outside investors. So a league like the Bundesliga with the 51% rule will never be able to compete with that because it's not attractive for sheikhs. So if you do like the clubs being owned by the fans you have to think about how you deal with some leagues bringing in 100s of mios while the others can't.
