I remember being in Gulahan 2 in Dhaka in about 2018 talking to local friends who were appalled & in disbelief by her being an MP in the U.K. parliament as they all knew how corrupt the entire family was & how close she was to the dictator. Tulip was a regular in Dhaka and she was despised by many of the locals that were aware of her & her family.

Former tyrant Hasina’s party Awami League helped her in all of her political campaigns. Tulip in return used to serve interest of her tyrant aunt. Her aunt Hasina made a connection with Tulip and Putin.

She is wealthy. Muhammad Yunus - the Nobel Prize winner advising Bangladesh - said London properties gifted to the former City minister may be proceeds of robbery. The Prime Minister should offer Bangladesh the full support of our National Crime Agency to ensure that any properties bought with stolen funds are properly investigated. If the Bangladeshis have evidence & they want to charge her, she should be arrested & stand trial in Bangladesh. Deportation should not be blocked & she should stand down as an MP.
