What if you technically do not OWN your air bnb but you are allowed to rent it for guests? How do you get around proving ownership to air bnb?

I'm getting ready to do this, I'm going to start out with 5 to 10 properties gaining as I go. It's not a get rich quick, you've got to build over time. Even if you wanted to purchase a timeshare from somebody right now too be able to use it as a sailable asset, it's going to take you anywhere from 2 to 4 months to go through closing. Like I say this is a long ball right, but if you're digilent and you use all of the apps not just Airbnb but get it out on everything, especially research the Saudis and the Chinese these people are the ones with the money. I could see myself in 5 years bringing home a quarter of a million or better a year.

Important tax question: The Timeshare hotel will collect taxes. But Airbnb also collects the same taxes. How do you navigate ?

In your settings in the availability section make sure you mark "dates unavailable by default" and then when you go to your calendar, only open up the dates you want to rent. Pay attention to my video and I explain how the minimum and maximum nights work as well.

@@Jesse6283 What she was asking is timeshares only allow up to 2 weeks a year. How can you do this with limited time on your timeshare? Is there a way to get more weeks on your timeshare for an additional fee.

This usually happens when you select Serviced Apartment. Try selecting apartment and then rental unit - otherwise you can send Airbnb your Timeshare Deed or maintenance bill - They usually dont ask for this but I have noticed that when people select Serviced Apartment sometimes it will trigger them to ask. Also, sometimes Airbnb will ask but they may not make it mandatory...
