Thanks for making a cool video! I didn't get a chance to read all the comments, but when you were selecting each item's checkbox... I think you can just select the check box that sits in the menu row at the top and it will select them all.

You can list them but prices change so check the competitions prices again before activating the listing and adjust accordingly. I try to stay under a 2 Million rank for books!!

Finally a TRUE step-by-step video for dummies from beginning to end. This helped SO MUCH! I am new to selling, and I am hitting so many roadblocks just trying to add the listing. What happens if you scan a book in and it says "needs approval"? Why does it say that? How do you get around it?

Some books are gated and im not 100% sure why that is. Gated means you need to request approval from Amazon to sell it. I just re donate those ones or sell them locally. Its a tough one.

Your comment is 4 months old now, so i hope you went on to watch several other tutorials about selling books on Amazon. Your question should have been answered by now, by more experienced sellers, in their other videos. There are ways to get "ungated" to sell "restricted" media, as well as ways to sell it.

Still need help!! I have followed the instructions closely and I still have a weird problem that will not allow me to add the unit numbers to complete shipping. After highlighting each book item and clicking "send/replinsh inventory," the screen moves to the one where I should be able to click for prepping and printing labels BUT, the area that should be highlighted in the blue and yellow turns to no prep needed and does not allow me to input the number of each unit to be shipped. Amazon is no help at all that I can find. I cannot find a solution in the Amazon University. I have even tried deleting and relisting all the books I want to ship.

Hello!! Amazon will label them for you. I believe its $0.20 per item. Eventually get yourself a laser printer or thermo printer and save the money BUT yes you can use Amazon!!

Thanks! I did this as you stated (the exact same thing I had done before several times), and when I clicked on continue the shipping que does come up. However, when the information column lights up, it is only for a second and "no prep needed' turns quickly to grey and switches to 'no labels needed,' and the 'unit' column will not let you select the number.

the sku stickers you use to put on your books.... with the laser jet printer , are they a standard size? does amazon require a certain size for the sticker ? You can use stickers if you choose to for anything but I use printer paper for the shipping labels and the sku labels for the items are printed on "30 up labels 1" x 2-5/8"

The alternative would be to either ship it yourself as Merchamt or send your items to Amazon and have them label them for you but theres a fee per item.

OK I try to list a book yesterday for some reason the book was not listed so I had to go through a process where I had to put all the information and I was kind of lost I wish there was a system where it’s reached with Amazon and you just scan the book and the information gets pulled from the Internet and gets put into the appropriate areas to avoid confusion. If there’s not an app like that I will definitely try to make one or see if anyone can help me make one but if there’s one already available do you happen to know what that might be because I’m doing this for the first time and it got confusing to the point that I just put it on Mercari

Not at all!!! Once the box is packed you have the shipping labels printed you just click "mark as shipped" and its done. Just drop it off at UPS or whatever postal service you are using!!! Glad the video helped!!! Congrats on the shipment!!!

I am a USA based book seller, and all of the vides I am seeing say to click the "more attributes" button to add additional info on the book such as sale price, list price tax code etc. Is your shorter because you're based in Canada? Thank you!

Your presentation and explanation for listing books is the best I have seen. I do have a problem and I have tried desperately to find the answer, but to no avail. Please help if you or anyone can. After listing the books and highlighting the square beside each listing I come to the send to amazon page. In the column information where I should be able to prep the books, the column is presented in color for only a second and then switches to "no prep/no labels". Therefore the units cannot be listed and the process stops. What am I doing wrong?

Hello...when im listing I list all items(25 per shipment if individual items), then I go to the "manage inventory" page and select the 25 items. Once thats done click the action button on top left and select "send/replenish inventory". Click continue and that will bring up your shipping que. Once there you have to do each one manually now. Select no prep(if theres no prep needed) and make sure to select 1 as the amount(far right of the row) then click "ready to pack" and repeat for all items. Before continuing click "print labels" THEN continue. Hopefully thats what you needed. If not let me know

It depends on a lot of different things. Best bet is to call Amazon Seller Support. They can help you. It sounds like you are unable to sell certain products.

The max you can send is 25 books per box so it all depends on the size of the books!! You need a measuring tape and scale. You will eventually know the size of boxes. Home depot boxes are great

There should always be a partnered carrier through FBA. If you are listing as merchant their wont be that option. If you are sending it from Canada to the US, there wont be either. You have to ship with whoever you use and just provide a date aindow for arrival. Shipping in your own country should always have the option though.

When using Amazon FBA they ship it for free for you. The only shipping you pay is on the shippment to Amazon which is around 20-50 cents per item all combined.

I got tons of middle school books ex library books. id have to list them in acceptable condition. is it even worth the cost and time? id have to invest in a scanner, printer, amazon monthly fees, shipment fee.

Amazon comes off as too expensive and a headache for just trying to get rid of a ton of middle school ex library books
