I find double thirds quite easy, but the difficult of this piece is it’s length, because you have to perform this without stopping. That’s scary as hell

@@villanfn1935 Very impressive! If you find double thirds at that speed quite easy, you must truly be a master at the piano. The length certainly adds to the difficulty, although 14 minutes isn't *that* long.

@@nilsragnar1347 I agree, 14 minutes isn’t that long, but the 14 minutes is all difficult in this piece. Also I’m not a master at all, double thirds is just a skill I’m good at, there are still lots of things I’m bad at. Also the double at that speed is difficult, but it isn’t as difficult as other sections in the piece

A cadenza is a part of a piece where the Pianist is Playing a Virtuoso Part, something That is impressive

@@milkor_ I know the definition of it, but it's kinda odd for so many of those sections to be called cadenza. A cadenza is usually a part where a soloist plays the hardest part of the whole piece, not multiple sections spread throughtout.

That’s because you are thinking in a concerto, probably. In concertos there is typically one candenza in a movement, that happens close to the end. The majority of concertos are like this at least.

It’s just an F7 1st inversion expanded out across the hands. You could also argue it’s an F7 add 13 bc of the D that is played around that time. Both chords serve the same function tho.
