Have you tested parrley with courier? They have still not fixed it generating 1 extra card, when parrley swaps a class card.. You get 3 total instead of just 2.. I reported it ages ago..

Mark I love all your videos and I'm a competitive player they just added nerfs today this deck still works with the update and I been consistently getting wins. Change text on illusionist to deathrattle card Instead of minion. Then it wouldn't be a bug.

Ive been using the bug with rogue, if you start with maestra and place an invitation courier down and play a potion belt while not revealed, you get 4 copies of the concoction you make

im a little confused, why not draw the mine with the sketchy info at 3:00 ? wouldnt have caused hand problems as far as i can tell, would it?

I absolutely love that you keep finding these - my one question: are you guaranteed the combo? It seems like if you got both mines of the blade out of the gates, the combo is over. Am I wrong?

Seems like you could always play more blades before mine if you're worried, you have a 0.5^4, or a 6.5% chance of hitting mine four times, so its quite unlikely, and even if you lowroll, you have done 4x2x4 (32) damage which kills a non renethal opponent with the four double mine procs. Snowfall graveyard does degenerate things with necrium blade, because it doubles the blade doubling the deathrattle.

You only run one mine in the deck. Once you draw it, scourge illusionist doesn't recognize necrium blade as not a minion, so it'll keep drawing 0 cost weapons.

@@surfinfeebas No I get that, but I was thinking that breaking the two necrium blades that you get from the first necrium blade break could trigger the mine 4 times (rather than the scourge), in which case the combo is over, I guess it's only 25% chance, so not that

@@nathanhoffmann489 If you want to foolproof yourself against the worst possible roll, then just hold off until your opponent has 32 HP or less. That feels like sarcasm, and I hate that it's now common to see people with more than 30 HP. XD EDIT: Upon watching more of the video (I posted this like halfways through, there is the extra special low roll option where you get both blades in your hand and have to play the mine before Finley-ing the other blade to the bottom of the deck, thus possibly getting double mine off your first blade break, in which case you only get to do 16 damage. This does mean you drew both daggers before assembling the other pieces, then hit the 25% chance of double mining. In that case I suggest you accept that the world hates you and maybe consider not going outside during a thunderstorm?

@@nathanhoffmann489 That will only happen if you have mine in the field and play it before you play the scourge. The weapon Deathrattle doesn’t proc a “random” minion. It procs the deathrattles in order of play. So if you have two Deathrattle minions on board it’ll always proc the deathrattle of the 1st minion out of those two that you played.

This is ridiculous. They already had bugs like this happen where cards that were minion types interacted wi the minion type effects (the snapdragon hero card bug). HOW are they not testing for this in development of the card

scourge illusionist is the the perfect card for me this expansion. I've made a deck that I've slowly been perfecting for several years now where my two main minions are kobold illusionist and Ragnaros. one of my favorite decks I've ever made. where the goal is to have an endless supply of 1/1 ragnaros's from my kobold illusionist. and the scourge illusionist was the final piece to the puzzle to where im able to consistlly pull it off. it has to be the most satisfying deck ive ever made where you hear the constant DIE INSECT! i would love to see you try it out.

i was thinking i could switch them out with either the Necrium blade or Counterfiet Blade. i should also mention that the kobold illusionist is vital to this deck and its actually something i dont want to draw as i need it to create copys of it from the scourge illusionist.

There's also some bugs with deathrattle rogue in general, my opponent had Invincible and double deathrattles on board and after a brawl it didn't give the remaining minion the buff

I think that was only because he needed to shuffle his hand back to deck (because he had the other weapon in hand), otherwise he can just play the scourge first, activate it, and then play the mine to start the combo giving you only a 1/16 chance of failing. Well, not even failing in most cases because that would be 32 dmg.
