96ah is why it blew you're running a 12k on cmax is waaaay more dangerous 😳 had my 96ah headway bank no issues a yr now I'm taking it apart today to replace cells.

i dont care for the used cells , they all over the place in health . new headway cells perform way better too ! sounds like you can charge higher than headways max voltage , they are 14.6v max in 4s , id suggest LTO , its safer and WAY more powerful , smaller , lighter ect .

@@LifeasJSpikes if you don't want to burn your car down don't do C-Max. Cmax is one of the most dangerous . Also the cells are getting pretty old in age as they haven't made brand new ones in over 5 years

@@LifeasJSpikesmost c max are super old cells not talking bad but if something goes wrong they catch fire . I’d go with lto sirinko batteries have 2 different kits ones lifepo and the other is lto for cheap with bars and balancer . Just watch what the voltage is set at when you use a dc power supply you can crank the amps all the way up but the dc power supply goes way up their in voltage and will cause any cell to malfunction. If you sell your headways let me know I’m interested in the bank for the right price

You can't drain those cells I had the same problem fire in the trunk you need to put your lead acid battery back in till you figure out what's draining your car

Did you equalize the headway cells overnight before the build and did you check the voltage of each one as well

Let me ask you a question. When you charged your bank how did you set the voltage on your power supply? Did you set the voltage before you hooked it up to the bank or after? I seen somewhere that you suppose to set the voltage at 14.6 before you connect to the bank otherwise this could be the issue. I know you changed it out already but just curious

Headway did me right. You never know tho. I moved to scibs but switched cars so gotta switch everything over. My dam box won’t fit in the new whip .Scibs lto is stronger .

Man I like the headway it was powerful but like I said in the video it was half my fault and half the cells wasn’t grade A cells but this AE45 is a whole different animal man I have that demo coming !

Dont do cmax there are so many better options out there Advanced Electric LTO Batteries from ill customz are a nicer option and cheaper than 1900 for so a battery with used cells

There's nothing wrong with the cells and they like the rest at 1 3. 3. You don't need to be keeping it on a charge. So when you're driving around you can take the voltage controller and put it down to 13.3 when want to demo 14.6 don't leave it on 14.6 all day cmax is the same thing. But at higher voltage cmax has a resting voltage that likes to be at to people you need voltage controllers or you'll burn your car is down
