I get your point, but logically speaking, if you get into a crash in a gas/diesel powered vehicle and it catches fire, and you can't get out, you'll still be a crispy critter, just by a different fuel source. The main difference will be the burn time and how crispy the fire makes you.

I just bought a corolla, glad I didn't go for the hybrid, when the salesman told me the price of a battery replacement and the hybrid version I told him, "so I'm gonna pay mor for a hybrid now and later pay again for a battery replacement, might as well get a regular gasoline engine and pay less for the car oil changes and it still gets good gas millage plus I don't have to worry about batteries replacement or blowing up

@@guyintenn Yes sir you are correct, but with this type of fire they won’t go near it until it burns out, a pose to the other you mentioned. So with that being said your chances of survival are much less in an EV vehicle fire.
