Devices with lithium ploymer batteries will be failing in about a year. Whereas the lithium-ion devices will last two or more years. It would appear that Samsung tablets are sticking with ion technology. Lenovo seems to prefer the polymer batteries. This is why I'll be replacing my disappointing Lenovo tablet with a Samsung tablet.

I have my Apple devices on the same original battery for eight years or longer my iPhone XR after 50 months is at 90% battery health I usually have 100% battery health until after 12 or 13 months
