Andrew - Was looking at Bob Towery's truck today at church, and particularly the K02's on it. Told him about my '85 F250 set up for overlanding and that I'm needing to replace the tires and that I'm looking at K02's and WildPeak A/T3W's. He said he only uses BFG's. Then in the conversation he mentioned your channel and suggested I take a look. I have and found this episode where you mounted the A/T3W's. What a coincidence! So, what do you think of the tires now, 2 1/2 years on?

Hey Andrew, as usual, another excellent video with lots of very good advice. I would like to comment on your explanation of how Lithium Batteries discharge. I ride an e-bike with a lithium battery and the discharge "curve" is not level at all, never has been. It is more like a parabolic curve where the closer I get to full discharge the faster the voltage falls off, but falls very slowly at the beginning. I do have an LCD screen that shows the voltage falling off just like a LA battery but not at an almost 45 degree straight line of decrease like a LA. Cheers

Yep, I had the Wildpeak AT01s on my HZJ75RV touring rig and now the AT3Ws. They are a severely under-rated brand and tyre. Great on on tarmac, good on icy roads (NSW, VIC snowfields), OK in snow, very good on wet roads, wet/dry gravel. Mud performance is compromised though, being an AT tire. Very good, smooth quiet ride too considering the LT construction.

rules of thumb LiIon battery discharge : "1 C" - that means it can be discharged by the same amount it delivers current. So a 100 Ah 12 Volt LiFePo can be discharged w/o problems by 100A! An AGM starter battery, 100Ah 12V, usually can be discharged by 700 - 800A! for a short! time, like starting. Some more modern Lifepo can be discharged by 2C - but this still is not an alternative. you can charge your starter battery though, before using the starter one.

Andrew, do you say "ampere-hour" or "amp per hour"? The second is not accurate. The unit Ah is one amp delivered for one hour, or an amp times an hour, not an amp divided by an hour. This is confusing me.

Would you consider mounting 2 lights either on the roof or bull bar that were angled slightly outwards to provide a wider beam of light?
