Agree with what Bodhan says that I'd much prefer a format like OCG where cards are cheap and banlist can literally hit what they like and the deckbuildng is much more interesting too

One thing to notice is that almost everybody (if not all) you interviewed said that such a diverse format is Bad for deckbuilding pruporses when going to an event as Big as this 🤔 something to think about

I seriously do not understand the complaint of "You can't prepare for everything". That is a GOOD thing. If you get it right, if you get your deck built in a way, you get mega rewarded and if not you get super crushed and that is how things should be. You should not be able to have all the answers for everything all the time. That would be boring as hell. There is some luck involved in match ups but come on... It's there when you pick your deck, it's there when you draw your hand, etc etc...

Your side and main deck have to remain exactly the same as the list you handed in throughout the whole event, right? So you cannot „permanently“ side out some cards for others (e. g. if you changed your mind during the event and wanted to play the Feather Duster and the Escalation in your main deck instead of the Enemy Controller), can you?

Yes, your main deck/side deck/extra deck has to remain the same throughout the tournament. If you try to play with cards from your side deck in your main deck game 1, you'll be given a game loss even if it was an accident.
