I did play against 5 Nekroz as well, and the BAs were at the top of the swiss rounds compared to nekroz who lost early. Top 8 1 nekroz, for example.

Hi over there, I'm french and even if I understood almost everything, this dude was just awesome, but there are a few things I'm having struggle with ^^ 1- Why doesn't he want to main Mind Control ? This card seems absolutely huge for shaddolls. Qli gives you access to Sheki, Necloth gives you an almost free Anoyatyllis etc. 2- Why playing Lyla in the side deck ? I mean, he already plays 3 MST + mained dragon + sided fairy wind. I just don't understand what he said about these 2 Lylas... 3- Why do people keep playing fairy wind for qliphort matchup ? What about wavering eyes ? It's a quickspell so you can do it during your turn, aka before next MP1's pendulum summon if the dude wants to search after his summon, and you don't get hit by the damages...

NaZ Khan imo nekroz won't get hit because it got under radar during the recent big events, BA will get hit (they won Nawcs), shaddolls will get hit (they won Ewcq), and stratos will remain banned (heros won Jwcq). They might as well ban royal library or magical explosion and lavalval chain bc of ftk's; limit scout to 1 bc of adition of 3 wavering eyes to the main deck. Ritual Beasts won't get hit (same scenario as nekroz) and infernoids will probably get buffed because they are stll considered among the top tier decks as the underdog. feel free to give me your opinions ;)

José Pedro dos Santos Peixoto Nekroz are going to get hit because they were the top deck this format, not having a good showing @ the 3 main WCQs doesn't change that. BA may see Dante or Cir/Graff get hit and Shaddolls may get Construct limited. Heroes won't go anywhere and Rota will go to 1 likely with Deneb to 2. Infernoids won't get touched because their main support is in CORE. I can see Heavy Storm/Harpie's FD coming off the banlist with a new pendulum deck around the corner (Igknights). I only say HFD b/c it's legal in Japan, so may have a chance over here. Hoping Library and Explosion are banned with Race coming out, but don't think Chain should be hit.

In North America, a card has to be in the proper place to activate. For instance, a Flip monster has to be face up on the field to activate. So if your opponent activates Raigeki and you chain SSG flipping up a set Beast, Beast won't be able to activate its effect as it's no longer on the field when it would activate its effect in a new chain.

If you book something they have on the field it will count as a non-BA monster, so all the malebranches will destroy themselves with their effects. Essentially, they won't be able to play until they flip the monster back up or farfa it away.

Team Delta V opponent special summon burning abyss monster. book of moon ... he cant normal or special summon another BA monster or it will get destroyed immediatly. you can block tourguide (eff will go through). you can block firelake (i guess). you can use it on summon of sync/xyz to stop from using effect and engine ongoing. and don't forget, he is playing shaddoll (flips, if you don't know :P). another great tip -> mathematician -> opponent negate effect -> chain book -> math eff. will go through

I wouldn't expect Shaddoll to get hit to hard unless the meta itself gets nuked. The decks from Clash are pretty under-powered compared to current decks and Konami needs to make the product appealing. As long as hits are somewhat even I wont be bitching.
