Yes, there is a large Lithuanian diaspora in Pennsylvania, 2nd largest number. Chicago is the #1 place where Lithuanians came as far as I know, my great-grandparents and grandparents included.

I was in the Michigan National Guard. One year the Latvians were on our base, and they seemed like good people. But I never did any training with them. I wanted to swap uniforms/patches for souvenirs, as some people were doing. But my particular command wouldn't let anyone do this 🥲

It's just too bad that we are so far apart. Back in 1910 it took my Grandparents a month to get from Punia in Lithuania to Scranton in Pennsylvania.

Its becouse of Lithuanian diaspora. USA Lithuanians always suported LT . Like Ilinoiys Poland diaspora chose support Poland.
