Aš labai mėgaujuosi tavo pamokomis. In the example "Kiek obuolius tau nupirkti?" and in the answer "Nupirk desimt obuoliu", why is "nupirkti" used. I thought "nu" signified a completed action. Since the question is being asked, then obviously the obuoliu have not been purchased, yet. Does the "nu" simply emphasize that "I am" doing the buying?

''Pirkti'' - to buy, it's a general verb. "Aš perku'' - I am buying, "aš nuperku" - I buy (and I have it, it's a complete action). ''Nupirk dešimt obuolių" - Buy ten apples (I am asking to buy and to complete the action). We can say ''Pirk dešimt obuolių'' - Hopefully it will be a complete action, but if we ask "nupirk" it sounds stronger, we don't leave the doubt that the action is not going to be complete. I hope that my trying to explain it was successful :))

I'm trying to learn the profession of faith

Right now I'm trying to learn the profession of Faith Catholic Church in Lithuanian I'm giving it one verse of the time starting from the beginning it's the first composition I'm writing in Lithuanian I'm on lesson 134 but I think I'm ready to start writing competition in Lithuanian language so I'm going to start with the profession of faith from the Catholic Church so when I get to my grandmother's Catholic Church in Sasnava Lithuania. I'll be able to recite the profession of faith and the Lord's prayer in Lithuanian while all the other church congregation is saying the same thing

I'm sure that my wording is going to come out a little bit different but I'm doing it from the original Roman Catholic original version. It's going to be fun because the church is very crowded and if I make a mistake nobody's going to notice because there's like a hundred people in the church hehehe

You know if there was only like 10 people in there and I had to say the Lord's prayer in the profession of faith and in Lithuanian but I'm not as nervous because it's going to be like a hundred people there and so if I do make a mistake on. Just just laugh and play along and have a good time in the name of the Lord amen
