sure it does, there is ways where you can use that gravitational energy and change it into forward momentum instead of just smashin you knees. You gotta position your body so the roll will come useful if it is a straight drop. Every little bit helps

@PreRunnerTaco The word traceur derives from the french verb tracer, which is slang to go fast where parkour origionated. They are traceurs but the groups name is "Tracers"

In 1945 most colaborators who commited war crimes fled to germany and then surrendered to allies. Since then they have probably dispersed troughout the world and were dead by 1991...

Really good vid. Although this is not Parkour it is Freerunning. Parkour is about getting from point A to point B in the most fluid and efficient way. Freerunning focuses more on tricks and flips, like shown in this clip. Excellent video though.

No, but close. Parkour concentrates on getting from point A to point B with efficiency and speed, while streetrunning involves more flair and acrobatics; kind of a performance. Basically the difference is whether anything unessential to travel is added.
