I’ve just been litter picking in my area always beer cans , the councils are literally crap what you are picking up.

Our council aren't too bad generally thankfully. You do see their litter pickers and cleaners about at least.

Hope you guys had a wonderful time off and happy to have you back 🥳 Oh it was so windy here too a few days ago, that is why I find so many bits and pieces in the bushes these days. We also have some very smart birds who like to look for food in the bins, throw out the other stuff and rip apart the bags next to it. Can't blame them but makes it look like some bins exploded and the wind picks it up and blows it all over the place again... It's a messy circle of circumstances. No matter which country, neighborhoods, city, park... It's the same kind of litter, fly tipping... it seems. Thank you over and over again, for tackling the massive amount you come across. Cheers ☀

@@mrg8537 oh, I agree but it's a far cry from how it looked a few weeks back! It just needs trimming is all but as usual it will all be chopped back without a care. There's no middle ground as far as the council are concerned.

A lot of it does get blown along the canal system with heavy winds as well. We do now have a net thanks to a generous subscriber 👍

Usually we do although we're always aware not to touch any part of our face whilst out and about. Once home our hands get a good wash!

Yes! Also to protect yourselves from broken glass or needles. You just never know what's in those rubbish bags.

We do wear gloves as a rule but are fully aware when we don't! 😊
