About 15 years ago, we had a self-scooping litter box that worked well. Our cat loved it - we called it Cat TV, because she would reach in with her paw to touch the litter, then sit back and watch the scooping action set off by the motion sensor. And when she really did use it, she would hop out and sit down to watch the action.

I have a Litter Robot 3. Had it for over 5 -8 years. 2 years ago it started having problems which we solved by replacing some sensors, cleaning sensors and bypassing the pinch sensors. Recently I cannot solve the smell issue even though I changed the filters. Now it’s time to upgrade and this new version seems to be the go to solution. Thanks

You should probably put more litter in it.

Soooo if you could only have one, is it the Litter Robot 4 or the Leo Loo Too?

Isn't it obvious?

it has a lot of notifications except the obvious one: cat entered the litter box. just wondering what sent you the update software means, in what form, how do you get it into the unit? I figure since it's on Wi-Fi it should self update

Thanks for the review, I'd recommend not having the screen stagnant for the monologue in the first 4:30 minutes of the video. Some B roll of the box working or something helps hold interest. I understand this guy isn't the main dude on the channel so I'm not saying it to be mean, just advice.

I don’t like mine at all. The company replaced mine once but the new one is just as bad as the first one.. The blue red lights constantly on and I have to unplug and reset. I think the rubber /silicone liner absorbs the order and it smells. I have 3 cats but only 2 use it because the big cat really doesn’t like the fit. I have trouble with the fact the cat will go and get out the robot starts and the other cat sees it moving and jumps in and pees or poops on the screen or places with no kitty litter and makes a mess out of the inside. I think there is more cleaning and labor to this than scooping a regular litter box. The bonnet lid is a joke and doesn’t close at the top. Customer service on my first one was better than helping me my current issues. I just want to send mine back and be refunded, as I don’;t have a single day that I don’t have a problem with it. 😊

Doesn’t seem so. I think this is a toy for rich people that have $800 to lose. I hear ‘good reviews’ and then ‘problems’ in the same sentence. Just seems for the price, should be flawless. I also think fewer sensor bells and whistles and more mechanical performance.

Yes! We have the first iRobot Roomba (from Costco) and now it’s well known it scratches hardwood floors. I’ve watched the VacuumWar channel where he talks about this awful discovery. I appreciate all the early adopters of tech because they find the issues and THEN the product gets better and better.

Nothing is flawless. And you don't have to be "rich" to own one....geesh!
