Sherman pass and Elk mountain are 2 of the most treacherous areas for wind, snow and icy roads... I've been shutdown many times at both spots.... old route 30 was our bypass when we could.... Stay safe guys!!

It seems that snow brings out the little kids in you guys. I do hope that Adam contacted the Union Pacific Railroad and asked for a tour of their steam shop which is a hop skip and a jump down the road from Little America. The Cheyenne Shops are the home and repair center for the largest operating steam locomotives in the world and can you imagine the size and quantity of machine tools that are in those shops ?

Don’t ya just love that snow , brrrrr!!! We get that a lot here in Minnesota. The very best part is the first few storms you can open your door and the air has a real fresh clean smell to it right after the snow falls. Fun times. Thanks for sharing Adam and Abby.

Being a Wyoming native, I can tell you the wind never ends and it can and will snow any day of the year! Also, the tunnel you went through was in the video for Journey: Faithfully. The part where the trucks and buses are by the arena in the snow is in Casper at the newly erected Casper Events Center.

You guys see the big tall Snow Fences out there?? Back in the early days of the Interstate being completed the old time truckers called those Indian bleachers.... The ranchers and Indians would climb up to the top in the summertime and watch the traffic go by.... many years ago...

Welcome to Wyoming! Ya it's beautiful here (and the wind is normal)

We were wondering how you were doing in Cheyenne. People from elsewhere who have no experience with our high winds can get into trouble. On the day you had your problems the wind was gusting to 90 mph, which even for Southeast Wyoming is a real blow.

The slide topper wasn't wound tight enough when it was installed, which is why it whipped itself to death. Whoever put it on owes you a new one.

It's so cool that you guys are so happy and cheerful when your awning blows off. When that happens to us, I swear we use every &^*%word in the book and then sum. LOL (not really, but almost). Now, be honest, I want to see the behind-the-scenes on that one. Did you tie up the other side, the winds in Wyoming blow and suck. (ND and SD too)

As I watch this, I can't help wonder how would a trip like this be possible with a mandated electric truck. There is no way any electric vehicle could tow a rig like Adams especially driving up some of the mountain grades they encounter. Also, where would you charge an electric vehicle in the middle of nowhere? FJB.
@boogieondown58245 ай бұрын
They'd have to build more Little America's every 100 miles for all the stops and minimum 1 hour lunches you'd need to charge up for the next 100 miles. 4 hour trips could take you all day.

The one helpful comment I would add involves what appears to be at the point the video changes over from GoPro to phone video. When using a phone hold it vertical for photographs and before starting video recording turn your phone sideways. Love your channels but vertical videos just make me want to grrr lol
