This is such a great little stitch - if you don't mind, could you please help me understand how it works in the round? With a flat panel, you went back over the whole row before repeating the slip stitch row. Does that mean I should knit a whole round after doing each round that has the slip stitch rows? Thanks for your time in posting this, and for answering my question! :-)

Can you please clarify something for me. Do I cast on 7 stitches for every 10. Or do I just add 7 at the end? If for example I cast on 20 do I add 7 or 14?? Thank you in advance. This is a lovely stitch pattern and I am excited to try it.

I don't get how to do this in the round if my loom has 36 pegs since it's not a multible of 10

can this be done on a super afghan loom
@PurlingSprite8 жыл бұрын
Yes, it can, you just need to cast on the number of stitches that you want for your afghan.

the first row wasn't a knit stich isn't that one a purl stich?
@debbijaeger-cannizzaro5811 жыл бұрын
It looks like a purl stitch, when the working yarn goes BELOW the loop on the peg. If you watch carefully the working yarn is ABOVE the loop on the peg. That is the difference. Working yarn BELOW the loop is a purl, working yarn ABOVE the loop is a knit stitch. If that confuses you too much check out doing a flat knit stitch instead.

Awesome, you are so welcome! Happy looming!

Im sorry but that is not a knit stitch it a purl stitch
@PurlingSprite10 жыл бұрын
Luis, I am sorry but you are incorrect. I am demonstrating the Knit Stitch on that first row. The yarn is clearly above the loop that is currently on the peg. If the loop was below, it would be a purl stitch.
