At Blake's age it's really important that parents understand that its not the time to fear monger your child away from fun. Its like Joe says "its dress up". Nothing more,Nothing less. There is no hidden meaning (at that age,I mean unless they outright say something) behind dressing up. Let your child feel safe enough to have fun and express themselves around you. Don't be the place where they feel like they are wrong in being human and being ever-changing.

I was always told that when little boys wanted to play with dolls and dress up to let them. That they will become compassionate and understanding adults. I think there is some truth to that. It gives them practice for adult family life. Same with girls wanting to play with boy toys. Helps them model how to be tough and fair. I don't know if that is old fashioned thinking now but it was helpful for me.

When kids play dress up they don’t think about the hidden meanings behind it unless the parents say something about it. He was playing dress up and that is all it was in his mind so I don’t know why they made it bigger than that. If the kid doesn’t see anything more about it then just leave it.

They are in "child care". It's called their parents. And of course it's possible to have 3 kids that young and give them attention. It's a good way for them to learn they DON'T get ALL the attention.

@@pinkosmondfan They aren't being cared for. They are being ignored. It literally shows that although their kids aren't being left alone, they are still being neglected. If they were both working outside of the home, they would most likely arrange child care for their kids while they were working.

Even if the kid is trans, why should the dad care? He should let them explore who they are. If he doesn't, he'll definitely regret it later - or, yk, now - when the kid(s) is/are hiding things from him. Like the kid is already hiding things, at what, like, 4? 5, 6? Grow up, dad.
