I love this band! I started listening to them when I was 12 years old around 1973 and they and the Grateful Dead have been part of the sound track of my life since!

You know what’s going on, Jamel! Glad you were kept safe from the bad things you grew up around.

two east coast white guys, a couple of cajuns, and two brothers - all singing harmony - back in the day we thought maybe racism was fading away -

I saw Little Feat open for the Greatful Dead. It was like going from a Masarrati to a puttering Model T. No band could upstage Little Feat.

Little Feat is my all time favorite band. Listen to the live album Waiting for Columbus and you know why. They have energy and funk, soul, blues and rock. It's timeless.

I'm a huge Lowell George fan. He, and the Feat were held in the highest of esteem down in the deep south where I'm from. I don't know about all you yankees, cowboys and sh*tkickers, to us they were/are golden. They're from Baltimore, which is considered to be a southern city, by the way. Hoy hoy.

Not a cowbell. A wood block. Best. Leo.

Yes, look again, was Sam Clayton on block but Lowell had a stick & cowbell duct-taped to mike stand

@@scotts.7662 You are correct, sir. When our host made the observation the camera was on Clayton. Best. Leo.

Miss all the percussion that seemed to be featured heavily and so prevalent then. 🤪 In love of music 💕 🎶

My oldest son was Feat's guitar technician for about 10 years, up until about 6 months ago. He went to Jamaica every year for their Ramble On the Island fan fest. They recently fired their long time drummer Gabe Ford, who is guitarist Robben Ford's nephew. I've got tons of autographed memorabilia and pics of my boy with folks like Jackson Browne. Good stories, too. 😊💜💚💛✌️

This was from The Old Grey Whistle Test , the best British TV music show in the 70s/80s....The guys landed in the UK in the morning and went straight to TOGWT studios...Rock and Roll Doctor from this session is fantastic..I've no idea how they played this well in the morning!
