you have to tie that gong on rope and let it hang. Twist the rope hit the gong and let it spin on its own and unwind. That will create an awesome effect. Your craftsmanship is great.

Watching someone else do this for once makes me think... Why do we all like hitting bits of metal with hammers so much? 🙈 Nice job, that thing was ringing even without heat! 🏆 Best wishes to you... May your elbow never falter! 💪⚒️🇬🇧

Is the heat to anneal the steel? Then it will vibrate more readily?

It sounds like the tolling of an iron bell, calling the faithful to their knees, to hear the softly spoken magic spells......

Do you need the flame thrower? Or can you just throw the gong over a fire pit? I've never worked with metal, but the idea of making your own gong seems fun. I found a website that sells b20 bronze sheets and I can buy hammers.

Hello Congratulations, all your videos are amazing! I am interested in building a gong and I would like you to tell me if there is a book o something that may help me with this task! Also I wonder why do you heat them is necessary? Thanks in advance

This sheet is maybe 20 thickness. I will try a 24 thickness sheet more thin. And more diameter maybe 40" to have more low and deep tone.

Dear Sir! Do you have any theoretical materials on gong making. How to calculate the side length, where to drill the holes, how long to heat the metall? Please.

Que grosor tiene la chapa
@omarmontoya483 жыл бұрын
Para mi parece tener uno o dos milímetros de grosor, pero asegurate de comprar chapa de hierro no de acero o acero galvanizado
