In the rural south back then , for all practical purposes, a shotgun loaded with bird shot was considered a communication device.. It was like a big exclamation mark indicating seriosness. A friend of mine got off with a lecture for peppering a guys butt with birdshot, because the guy threw a firecracker in the back of his new convertable. Every monday at sawmills and farms usually someone would show up for work with a little birdshot in their butt, walking a little funny in their overalls, . it was very common.

@sunspots6077, I heard this years ago from family that lived there. They had come out to visit for a bit. I thought they were exaggerating. Now, from your comment, I know they were telling it like it actually was. Thank you; you helped me remember a lot of great memories.

Literally watching and pondering… how does the boy and his dog parachuting tie into this story… 😂 I absolutely love this channel. By far the best thing on KZbin.

Thank god you incuded "literally" in your opening statement. Otherwise, I never would have understood WTF you were saying.

It's the tie in to the D.B. Cooper story at the end.

You should ponder not using the word "literally" in every sentence.

@@L_Train I LITERALLY used it once 😂 Next time I will leave a short, concise, overlooked comment like yours. Sorry for not conforming to your ways Giga Chad. I will set fire to all my devices and never set foot in the internet again.

This just shows why it is a good thing we aren't a direct democracy. Like, don't get me wrong, I don't like borderline strangers representing my interest in government. However, this story tells me that if we all had a say, we would let emotion trump reason. A kid brought a gun to school and threatened to shoot his principle. That kid got off Scott free because the public didn't like how a dog was being mistreated. That is purely emotion trumping reason. I'm shocked the judge allowed the public to change his ruling. On an unrelated note, yall should give your editor a pay raise. I love how these videos are cut. It has a lot of personality.

What’s going to happen when you guys hit 55? And why 55 specifically? I am just curious and would love to know!
@55Folks6 ай бұрын
Haha we wish we knew too. We're hoping maybe something magical will happen. But really I think the first 55 are just practice so we can get better at talking and making valuable videos, then we can take the channel anywhere we want after that. If it's going well at that point maybe we'll rename it to 555 folks

Great social commentary! I am a victim of the media. After 25 years of being brainwashed by the media I was unable to laugh at parts of this story that previously I would have. (I live in Wisconsin but I am not related to the lady from Eau Claire, sure sounds like she and the principal could be sisters) I will bet you five dollars that one of your readers will know where the boy is before the ink on this text message dries. KUTGW👍
