Little Lakes Valley - Backpacking Adventure to Gem Lakes - 8 miles | 7 Lakes

We were fortunate to get a few permits to do an overnight backpacking trip on the Little Lakes Valley trail in the Eastern Sierra. On this backpacking adventure, we hiked at the famous Little Lakes valley trail leading to the last lakes which is called Gem Lakes. The trail is an 8 miles in and out that will take you along several small lakes. Starting at 10,000ft we slowly climbed to 11,000ft above sea level and was reward to some of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the area. Hopefully this video will give you an idea of what the trail looks like.

Just found your channel for off-road and now backpacking. Awesome trip and beautiful alpine lakes! I have backpacking there and along the eastern Sierra quite a lots. Next time you should check out Hilton Lakes and Cottonwood Lakes. Happy trails!

@@Michael_Tran Hilton Lakes is just down the road. The trail head is across from Rock Creek Lake. Good fishing too.
