Interesting theory, it makes alot of sense, although i consider the story to be Mono's literary nightmare, one of his parents had a hunting accident and was hospitalized, he was put into a boarding school where he was bullied and punished by strict teachers, he visited his parent in hospital where he sees prosthetics which would be scary for a child, and all the adults he knows are obsessed with television, his biggest fear is growing up alone (which explains him running from and becoming the Thin man). But in both games, no matter how you interpret the story, the children are the source of the nightmares, they're the literal "little nightmares".

Your theory is crazy and most accurate. But my one question is Why Six is in all kids Nightmares (Rainbow girl from VLN, Nomes, runaway kid and mono). Why whenever Six is involved in any of kid they most of time die or become monster. What is The relationship of Six and other kids in (*their real life or) in little Nightmare universe. Why Six is the main focus here and she is involved in all of this? Is she the nightmare fuel for kids? Or it can another thing?

Thanks for your great questions! If we consider that everything in this world is metaphorical, so Six is another adult person who fights for freedom, as well as Mono. After all of being said in the video, Six was brainwashed and became a threat for all lost souls who want to fight against the system. Probably, she became the best weapon without even knowing it. Just imagine, people all over the country are trying to fight with the regime, and the government doesn't like it, so they have the best solutions for that, to recruit one fighter, brainwash his or her head and make them follow the orders, so this double agent was created, it was Six. And she is suitable, because she didn’t turn into a monster she looks like other “kids” than you can trust her, but unfortunately no, not yet. You asked me why "children" become monsters or die. Because Six made them do it. If they obey they become monsters twisted “humans” of this ugly society, if they don't obey, they have only one way - death. Speaking of "Why Six is the main focus here and she is involved in all of this?" Probably Six is the main character, but not Mono. She is stronger than Mono, but Mono is the minor character who, unintentionally, has led her to the changing. Maybe she couldn’t even understand what they fight for, she just followed Mono everywhere. But then she became a soulless creature as she lost Mono as a friend. She lost her friend/lover, it broke her as well. And If we look at the secret ending, we see that Six is looking at her Glitching Remains, I think it's a representation that she lost her soul. That's why she always wants to eat, she wants to fill the void deep inside her heart, but it's not possible. Maybe the same way feel all other fat people in LN1, they always eat to fill the emptiness. (It reminds me of circles of Hell, gluttony to be exact. But I don't think it might be applied here.) "Is she the nightmare fuel for kids? Or it can another thing?" In my opinion, she is a pawn of the government, as at first "Big Brother" didn't consider that the Opposition is so strong, but when Mono managed to reach the Signal Tower, they realized that these fighters are the real danger, so they executed another strategy to destroy the rebels from the inside. By the way, this cliche is also used in movies and books I told in the video. In Equilibrium for example or 1984, and 451 Fahrenheit but in the last book it was slightly opposite, a firefighter was against the regime. I think she is a "double evil agent" who eliminates the rest of the opposition, and she is quite successful in it. I think at the end of LN1 she became too powerful, or maybe smart, so mighty that she could destroy the regime of the Maw. Maybe she realized the whole idea, and what is happening with her as well. I think it wasn't in the plans of Big Brother. Probably the third part of Little Nightmares will be about the fight between Six and Mono, the fight between the opposition and the evil country.

And yeah by your theory (which I feel most accurate from all) Six can be "Double Agent" like she is good at first, join mono to fight "The Government" without any proper reason behind it and then get brainwashed by government to let her think tha Mono is main "Enemy" but at end after killing mono she feel guilty and emptiness inside. She might knew she had to act like puppet of "The Government" and kill one of powerful person in them to have powers to fight against them. And about mono, I think "The Government" might get a little hint that Six can betray them so they brainwashed mono as well to become Thin Man, to become evil amd powerful. Now. I really want to see Little Nightmare 3 and where it will take us. I might check on books and movie ypu mentioned. So thank you again for answering my questions and for giving Wonderful theory.

@@R3_Ace I don’t know what country you live in but try to imagine that the leader of your country is an over-controlling government agency or Big Brother (in books it’s something that sees, hears, and controls everything). This group of people or a person doesn’t want to lose his power because of people who can be smart and start thinking that something’s wrong in their country, so the best way to stupefy people is to start with bad education. In schools you literally gain zero seeds of knowledge, kids are taught how to be stupid and aggressive, that’s why in the game they have empty heads, they have no knowledge inside of their heads. After school people go in real life to survive, without education, without love and care. They think they are fine, smart, and ready for everything, but in fact, they are invalids, disabled, ugly inside and out creatures. And anyway, to control such people stronger, the government has another solution - mind control via TV and alcohol. Big Brother stupefy them again, to make them a senseless, empty-headed container for the government’s ideas, to manipulate them even easier, make them be ready to die for your ideas. In family those people don’t know how to be good parents or parents at all, the only thing that brings their interest is a TV broadcast from The Signal Tower, or in other words the residence of mind-controlling. In general, that creates totalitarian or authoritarian grip (google it if you need) BUT There is a person, who didn’t lose everything, who is still a child inside, who has something to fight for, maybe some dreams. This person is mono. Probably he was too different, too smart for such a country, so he was sent to someplace, which you cannot escape because there is a guard or executioner - Hunter, that kills everybody on command. Fortunately, Mono finds a person who is ready to fight for the future, this person is Six. They both are managing to survive somehow, but Six was captured and “changed” to become an enemy of Mono, to break him and make them a part of a system. And Government successfully did it, Mono became a part of the system, another Big Brother, a member of the regime, but probably Six wasn’t so simple to break, she managed to change her mind and went to the Maw to try to destroy the current authority.
