Nice work on the screwdriver! Nothing gets through life without a few scars, no reason to pretend they aren’t there and they show a life well lived. Great clamps too, those will be useful!

You did good on the scales Bill. I was wondering how you would pull that off, Nice look. Andy Hooked you up with some nice Clamps. Have a good week.

Thanks Dale. I thought about trying to make some, but chickened out! 😄Anyway, perfect scales would not look right on this screwdriver with pits and all. I kind of like the look of the final product though with the battle scars.

The screwdriver looks beautiful Mr Bill. Nicely done. I have only found one in the wild and George sent me another. Those clamps are really nice and everything looks great in your new display cases.

Thanks Ivan! I have never found one in the wild. The ones I have were sent to me by other tool guys. I wish I had room for bigger display boxes, but the garage is only so big - have to make do with the space I have and I am thankful for that. Best to you, Bill.

Great work Bill. Those scales are always a pain. Remaking or refurbishing. But great result!

Thanks Tom! I thought about trying to make some - I have seen MagDad do a wonderful job making them. But since there was some deep pitting I decided to just go with the old ones.

@rollerbald Smart move for sure. It all blends to make a fine old tool

You are correct young Jedi, they are all good to go and you just need to put them in your display or actually use them!
@rollerbald22 күн бұрын
Hi Andy. I only had room for the smaller one in the display case. The larger one will be put to use! Thanks again, Bill.

Hey! I think I was the first viewer! Great job as usual. What happened to your right thumb? Oh and I just noticed, your index finger too. What did you call those two things on the side of the handle? Did you call them scales?
@rollerbald22 күн бұрын
Bandages are for split ends of fingers -- happens to me every winter when the air gets so dry! Yes those are called 'scales' like on a knife handle. Thanks for watching and commenting Richard!
