There used to be a guy I'd see on the 405fwy frequently on my ride home from work. His helmet had a big ol' FUCK CARS decal on it. Always made me smile. Strait up though. I ride the 5 and the 10 from Whittier to Santa Monica every day for work. On my Dyna, Street Bob. For every dumb fuck cager who's on their phone or doesn't think turn signals or speed limits apply to them, there's the people who do see or hear me and generously give me space. There's no solution for it. It just is what it is. I told my 18-year-old cousin who just got his first bike. When your highway ready. Be confident. Don't look at shit other than what's in front of you. Calculate your moves. And don't let cars push you around, because they will. Use all your tools. Engine revs when they don't see ya. That and your horn when you're about to get pancaked. Haha. (don't even get yourself in a pancake situation) And don't forget about those high beams. Huge help in the night. I use em' same as an engine rev. If they don't hear you, maybe they'll see you. Give them thangs a flicker. High beam, low beam....All that being said some idiots are just special. You can be as safe and confident as you want. But people will still try and block me so I can't pass, merge right into me like I'm not in the fuckin lane, tailgate.... Best believe there's a solution for all that. Kick a fuckin door panel, smash a side view mirror, throw a middle finger. Whatever's suits the car drivers dumb-fuckery. Run it! But be ready for someone who wants payback for those actions. Either be ready to get the fuck out and dodge after smashing their shit, or be down to pull off the highway and break out Jack Johnson and Tom O'Leary on somebody. Hahaha. Rubber side down people. Axel - keep kickin ass. Love to see it!

Tail gating morons are a universal problem ,l have ridden choppers for the last 14yrs ,the great thing with choppers is l just fit a bright tail light as high as it fits on my sissy bar & then the morons have to put up with it right in their eye line & if they get to close tapping the brakes lights them up,they soon get the message.
