Get yourself a pressure bleeder kit Chris. Fits on the bottle and forces the fluid through .. no pumping the peddle .less struggle

I’ll second that. And if you’re really tight (like me), you can make one out of a 2l pressure sprayer. Just need some pipe, fittings and a selection of old reservoir caps.

They had to replace every nut on a bridge in Glasgow because they were made of the finest chineseium and they were all failing. Had a friend that used to go to China to do steel sampling, he says they used to show him the best samples , but as soon as you weren't watching they'd just produce any shite. They're very capable of making a good product, they just don't want to if they can make a few more pennies.

Good morning Chris, Inside the master cylinder the piston is stuck fully forward. It should return with the internal spring when the pedal is released. It will be sticking because the piston is at a part of the cylinder that has no wear. You should try removing the brake light pressure switch that is screwed in the end. Once removed hopefully there will be a hole that you can push a rod down and physically push the piston back. If you manage to do it then work it a few times to get it working freely. When it works freely you should be able to bleed normally.

Hi Chris uncle Franko here mate , with that injector pump you can sometimes use thick grease to hold the piston in place while refitting the collar back in . Love the video mate 👌 Regards Franko

Chris the master cylinder is stuck down, but the pedal spring is pulling the pedal back up. Get a good old oil can clean it out put some brake fluid in it with some screen washer pipe on the end put it on the nipple and push the little bloody cylinder back up, back bleed all the wheel cylinders and she will fly 😁

Try bleeding it with the engine running. I had this on a Chinese pickup. Nowt until engine running then bled up perfectly. Excellent video Chris.

Made a bleader using a gallon can and a 24v washer motor off a volvo FL (one with brass gears).. Then connect it to the battery's and push the fluid backwards! Never failed

The master cylinder will be FUBAR because its run empty. The seals inside are 'U' shaped and when they are operated with no fluid they seal lips over backwards giving you no pressure. Don't ask me how I know but it may have involved a me ballsing up a brand new master cylinder. Keep struggling.

Get yourself a washer pump and some washer pipe and make a back pressure bleeder !

Keep an eye on the oil level on that fork lift that perking injector pump you took the top off will leak straight into the sump as well you were lucky there it has two o rings either side of a window that let's the fuel in and then squeezed up in to the pipe do not use normal o rings you have to use original ones from pump manufacturer (been there done that)

The wheel nut lost its threads because it's made of the best Chinesium metal like the rest of it, Didn't you already change the brake master cylinder when you very first found out it had no brake pressure and it was going straight to the floor but it was the shoes way out of adjustment. I think coz you have back bled the brakes without someone holding the brake pedal down you have reversed the seals in the master cylinder with the pressure of back bleeding it. Before changing the master cylinder make sure the pedal is returning properly. I had a problem recently on a brand new cylinder where to pedal wouldn't go back far enough to let more fluid into the cylinder

Happy Easter Chris to you and the family ....hopefully you've got half a mouthful of creme egg and fosters! That's the thing with the hzm....it represents tremendous value but when it goes wrong 😞 the parts are under specced but are cheap or free sometimes to repair but the JCB parts are 10 times more expensive and you need to buy a pack of 6 of them when you only need 4! But hey ho pal it's keeping you frustrated, confused and challenged (and slightly in pocket !) 👌and us entertained😉 I'd still go for the HZM over JCB ....what was it ....a third of the price with more bells and whistles.... back bleeding can turn the seals round in the master cylinder... either pressure bleed or vacuum pump is the way to go
