While I'm not a kayaker, I do love the natural worlds as it should be... which you captured beautifully!

Thanks Rob. The coast along there really is lovely, well worth exploring by boat.

Simply beautiful Gary....I must get my kayak out from under the house, cheers Paul

Thanks Paul. Yes, kayaks have a lot going for them alright, quick to rig and launch, no need for a trailer, you can explore places you can't take a bigger boat, and it is great exercise. Good to dust the kayak off every now and then.

Thanks Khiem. Maybe when you are down next we can check it out again if we can find the right weather and tide.

Well done Guys and now how about going all the way you can on the Werribee River. I did this in my Boat a had some years ago. You could hear the Werribee Zoo when you could not go and further.

Hi Mark, yes, Werribee River to its furthest navigable point is on the list. I like Werribee River, but lots of fishing lines to dodge.

Someone doesn't want any visitors..... Still, a beautiful day out.

Yes indeed. We tried to stay as far away from the swans as we could, but approaching the cul de sac at the end they decamped indignantly. The birdlife there is wonderful. Loved the guard of oyster catchers at the entrance sandbar.

So, we're off to Portarlington again?
@garyhardy38102 жыл бұрын
You bet Chris 🙂 Probably not in a kayak though.

So what’s the plan to get past the rocks???
@garyhardy38102 жыл бұрын
😆 you need a permit to set foot on the land there, so that's as far as we go upriver. And we don't want to disturb any of our feathered friends. Luckily there is plenty more Bay coastline to explore.
