Gary I was born & raised there & this is fact that's how it happened. Big on Little Rock. I don't care what your history books or yoor documentaries say we saw it all manifest live from the time they were recruiting their so called soldiers a lot of us who lived in thoses areas had meetings to see how we could defuse it the crack problem that came to Little Rock in our neighbourhoods, save that story to someone who want to believe what you think you know. I'm a part of that history.

I remember the movie banging in little rock.. now I'm in NO WAY saying that little rock isn't tough.. but I grew up near Los Angeles and then later moved to the east coast, Philadelphia. Finally in my 40s moved to Arkansas.. and I'll tell you what.. the coast hoods are waaaayyyy harder than anything I've seen in lr. The folks in Arkansas, no matter what hood you are in, are flat out nicer. They just are. It is a lot more laid back here, even the hard core hoods, than it is in the east or west. Southern hospitality is a real thing.

Ima tell y'all something. I can go 178 mph in LR but the police ain't gonna pull u over. Only VIOLENT offenders are put in jail bc of so much crime. The city is country ghetto. A lot of old money. But dont get it twisted its southern hospitality. My sister came from LA to College Station aka buck town and asked where the liquor store was...they robbed her and took her rental

If the city and the community come together like have a program that teach young males a trade or skill and pay them to help rebuild and clean these neighborhoods.

A lot of these homes have character and need tender loving care and maintenance. Look at the trees in the neighbourhood, gorgeous. A good spruce up will transform the place.

Not bad, not bad of a hood. An Asian boy like me will fit right in. I find that most black people in the midwest and the South are very polite. But in liberal cities, it is a different story.

That's crazy seeing this video brings back memories when I saw that 17th and Elm sign, as a kid for like 2 years we live on Woodrow St between W 16th and W 17th, then we live in North Little Rock in the neighborhood on Melrose Cir off N. Broadway St across Broad Way St Bridge, then we stayed in the seconded house from the corner of Bishop St and Wright Ave, I was in the third grade then, dang this take me back Litlle Rock born and raised.

Man, Little Rock looks just like Lorain, ,and Toledo Ohio. After seeing "Banging In Little Rock" back in the day I thought it would be way more hood than this! This is nothing Compared to Cleveland, Detroit, Cincinnati

I saw a girl shoot a man in the middle of the day in East Gate right by the police sub station. She told that motherfucker to leave her alone. He didn't , she had to shoot his ass. This fucking dude was hitting in his girl inside my friends house. The police said they couldn't put him out, but I sure the fuck did. You have to be about shit around here. This motherfuckers will kill you if you don't kill them. I was three years old the first time someone tried to kill me. Banging in Little Rock was some silly ass shit. I ain't never thrown a gang sign. I ain't in a gang. Don't claim shit but I bet no one will step to my face. We don't die, we multiply, huh, Will?

Who the fuck is Charlie? Yall with Yall's bogus ass names. Yall all know my name! I ain't changing shit. I don't call the police. The police never make any situation around here any better, huh, Mr. Snow.
