Worst thing I ever did was trying to figure out how to get back on the right freeway leaving Memphis. I got off the freeway because I thought I wasn't on 40 west and ended up in some neighborhood after dark that should have been called Friday The 13th. Houses so bad you had to board them up AND wrap a chain link fence around the thing. I thought people were going to jump out and bust into Thriller or some sh*t. I have seen worse, particularly in old eastern rust belt cities. Roads seem ok, but side walks need to be reworked. Unimproved property in many areas have not been maintained by owners. Young people need a place to meet and play. City fathers need to look for a place for this. Playing in the streets is not good.
