Thank You so much for showing Pine Bluff, Ark’s hoods. I was looking at KZbin for decor when you pop the caption Pine Bluff Hoods. I was born and bred on the West side of Pine Bluff, but it has been a very. Very long time since I have been home, since my mother and father are no longer alive. I must say I was shocked 😮 by how Pine Bluff, has deteriorated. So many boarded up and burned out houses. The years have not been kind to Pine Bluff. I wish I could see the street names, but I remember and could identify some areas. Thank You for showing my hometown. Although, it has urban Blythe like a lot of cities. Well, maybe my city isn't a garden paradise. But our crime rate is lower than Little Rock, Baltimore, Detroit, East St. Louis, St. Louis, Chicago, Camden NJ and even Washington DC. I've been here since summer, 1981. I've seen how much PB has fallen, and I hope that things pick up. (Maybe the Casino can help, who knows?) And I have no where else to go. (I'm almost 61. Where else can I go?) And I like it here very much. And there are very good people here. I left St. Louis after it gave me a severe nervous breakdown. I haven't had one here.

This is a quaint and quiet little town. For the most part, it is clean and it looks comfortable. However, most of the homes look outdated and could use a couple coats of paint and a few repairs. Some of streets could use some repair also, but that is to be expected everywhere. There are a few abandoned homes which I think should be bulldozed. It doesn't look like much violence happens there. BUT...looks are often deceiving. I must say that I do indeed love this little town. Thank you.

There are many people that live here, especially in those boarded up homes. Pine bluff is an amazingly dangerous place. Summer of 2018 May-Sept I worked selling home security for a company - meaning I was a door to door salesman. Holy shit the conditions that they live in!! Roaches, bugs, mice run rampant throughout their homes, unreported rapes, murder, and arsen. The education system is beyond repair. University of Arkansas - Pine Bluff has a 9% GRADUATION RATE AT THE BACHELORETTE LEVEL. I’ve had to talk people out of hurting me or hurting others. The citizens themselves stay in the house off the streets in fear of getting hurt. The youth aren’t afraid to victimize the old here, and many, including the children, are desensitized to violence and crime.
