Damn, you can hear the pain in the narrator's voice as he details the abuse these students received. Fantastic work as always, and I'm excited for more!

What a great-quality documentary video! We must never forget the courage and determination shown by those brave 9 teenagers in the face of such hatred and evil, and your channel is helping to keep the story alive. I hope y'all can get more exposure on KZbin, you're doing great work!

It's interesting watch this video, because I compare it with my high school which was intergrated in 1919 in Junction City Kansas.

There was one more but she was ill from dread so unable to attend. The last year I attended Southeast High School the following year they were going to Desegregate but that year they were going to send kids to different schools in accordance to where their education were to be focused. SE was strong on science . I was walking down the hallway and a small group of black students stepped in suddenly a deep silence fell. I approached them asked if they knew where to go, they said no. I was very shy but I couldn't just leave them stranded so I led them to the principal office and went to my first class. The following year I was at Bowlegs and there was a Race riot at southeast high school somebody was killed. Desegregation was not easily done.

It is unbelievable how grown adults can be so utterly horrible to children that just want to be treated equal to other children. It’s tragic that bigotry of this nature continues to exist in the US, despite all the progress that was made, and now in areas being undone.

Agreed. That’s why we decided to tell these stories - to remind everyone that the progress we’ve made is fragile and must be preserved.

@@RoamingHistory And I want to thank you guys very much for that. Also the writing and narration was really well done. I’m not one to easily get misty-eyed, but detailing the abuse in such vivid detail with photographs was extremely infuriating and heartbreaking. Keep up the great work!
