I just gotta say, @Jurnalist, you are one of the best ever reactors - I really enjoy hearing what you’ve got to say, it’s always interesting, incisive and entertaining BECAUSE you have a genuine love of and are a student of Music. If you could turn this this into a higher-end interview podcast video with other rappers and musicians, I’d be willing to bet it would be the best Music podcast out. You have a natural gift for this. (I used to be a professional in film and TV so I have some experience to be able to recognise talent when I see it 😅). Please keep on doing what you do with this rap/grime reactions. It’s QUALITY.

I’m so enjoying your Simz reactions - you are right - she is deserving of anyone’s top 5. The quality of her music is phenomenal, and arguably her body of work is the strongest of any UK rapper. Exceptional artistry and writing. She’s in my top 5 along with Kano and Ghetts; the other 2 spaces change depending on what mood I’m in or what new releases bring, but those three are immovable in my head - a level above. One of Simz’s earlier tracks that is still a big favourite of mine is Good For What. Would love to see a reaction to that 🙏

And the brilliance of her tune Tainted is wild genius, and prob unpopular opinion but even Lights is mad sick, with the strings and her vocal poignancy… Simz is such a gem 💎💎💎.

You're right about Simz being top tier, Stormzy is here just for numbers yna, mainstream darling n all that but levels are levels. Your right about Ghetts too. Try listening to another female MC who gets slept on like prison bunks, TRUEMENDOUS! Crazy cadences flows n wordplay but hip hop so slept on. Try O.T.Y.L. or L.I.S.P., she also has a recent track with Skinnyman who I know you rate. Try her she is 🔥💯

Right off the bat you were at Stormzy's neck, the only thing I'd say is you seem surprised he couldn't land as hard as Simz did and does, you shouldn't be surprised, he is very much mid-tier. Kano on the other hand killed this remix. She should have had Ghetts and Kano over Stormzy. Regradless, it bangs hard still. Great track.
