Its more of a subjective thought on the state of the genre. Most new rock bands are over produced garbage. Same with the majority of rappers and several hip hop artists. Its more murder, drugs and sex then ever before. Theres no clever wordplay anymore. theres no high level symbolism. Metaphor game gone. Simile game gone. Little Simz has it all. Its super rare to see these days.
