Hi Amy! Firstly, I want to tell you my eldest brother had Legg-Perthes Disease, diagnosised at the University of Chicago Medical Center over 65 years ago. He was one of the first to be treated with a left brace. So I understand about your son's problems ( I am also a retired Pediatric nurse). Secondly, I am currently starting to knit your Whitmore sweater. I would have loved to knit with your company yarn, but last year when I purchased the pattern you were not shipping to the US. When I finish this one I want to knit your new sweater pattern. I first saw it on Jooles Journal . I also love and want to knit your new wrap cardigan when you get the pattern finished. Hi Amy, this was my first episode of your podcast. I am not sure why as I have had recommendations for it a lot. Probably just my terrible memory. I love your wrap cardigan, it looks so beautiful on you. I think that I will probably start with your Whitmore sweater as Kelly who I believe is a friend of yours recommended it to me at Kelly of Lay Family Yarns fame, retreat last autumn. I met so many lovely people there and I am quite miffed that I can't go again this year but Kelly showed me two versions of your Whitmore and they were both beautiful. She said not to get intimidated with the lace as it's made very simple in the pattern which was a great bit of info to get as a newer sweater knitter. Your little Johnny(not sure of the spelling) is so handsome! 😁💕

Welcome back! I still remember the sweet gift you included in my advent for my little Amelia, I am keeping your Jack in my prayers! I was sitting here in bed watching you in my dumpy sweatshirt and I remarked to my husband, “she is who I am in my head but can never fully physically execute” 😂 and there are no babies in my house currently! I have knit three whitmore sweaters as I love that pattern so much and am very excited for your new jumper pattern which I’ve been following Gaynor at cuckoo land knitting it, and now I want to also knit that fisherman rib cardi.
