Very lovely first podcast; love your content, aesthetic and philosophy . Your thoughts about creating, being a means by which we insert ourselves into the world, is a truly fascinating concept. Never looked at crafting in this way, but, believe it to be so true. Really love the color combinations you put together; we seem to have a similar taste . Take Care and Happy Knitting until next time.

I feel you so much on the Spincycle thing. I have 2 bags full of beautiful colorways that have no projects because I just love to use it. I made the mistake if joining the mailing list so whenever they restock or release new colors I can’t help but snatch up what I can!

Your podcast came up on my KZbin and your voice was so soothing, I knew I'd love listening to you talk about knitting! Then I checked out your Instagram and saw you also love Nutiden yarn. And can I say, another reason I was curious about your podcast was because your cardigan you are wearing looks like the Fluff Nugget Cardigan I just finished? That was such a wonderful podcast. You are knitting so many things. It was so interesting that you mentioned putting oneself out there and letting people be who they are as i am not a social person at all, and particularly since Covid but i have been watching KZbin knitting and crochet podcasts for a few years now and i wanted to meet other fiber crafters so i started up a knitting/crochet group at my local library and we meet once a week on Sunday for the last 3 weeks. I love it and i am so happy that i did it. 😊

Gorgeous knits - you certainly have a 'type' when it comes to colour (ahem turquoise..) though I find myself that I go through colour phases. Loving my Gr8 raglan sweater, it is addictive. Question - how did you find split splicing the Spincycle scraps? I'm always micromanaging my Spincycle so have lots of ends and I always try to split splice but don't have that much success with the Superwashed Spincycle. Any tips?
@Lily_curatorial_knits2 жыл бұрын
Haha, absolutely, Jenny! I love the blue/green family, so fun to pair with navy and pops of pink 🥰. I simply spit splice my Spincycle yarns. The two ply is definitely toothy enough for me, and it never feels slippery. Hope that helps 🤗
