My brokenheart comes in a completely different form tho- 7yrs ago my youngest son, at the tender age of 21-- took his own life. Its a pain that's never-ending.... its not on the evening news, it doesn't stop the clock from winding or stop the sun from rising, OR stop my heart from beating-- even if I want it to. And tho I never became suicidal, the thought of living the rest of my life without him was somedays more than I thought I could bear-- so instead I'd just pray to not wake up. But our Heavenly Father DOES know what's best-- and today I can say-- I'm grateful for unanswered prayers. My son left behind his beautiful 8month old baby, and while we have questions that won't be answered, too many shouldas, couldas, wouldas, and all the countless what-ifs... I now know when its MY time to be called to my eternal home, not only will all my questions be answered, I'll be reunited with my babyboy. And if God HAD answered my prayers, I would've missed out on this gorgeous, smart, kind and oh so funny grandson of mine, who's now 8yrs old. I feel tons of guilt over my son, but I now feel my grandson is my 2nd chance. And had I left him, who would tell him all the funny stories & special memories of his Daddy?? God showed me thats MY duty now, and its a duty I'm so very grateful to have. He's been cheated enough by the loss of his Father, and if God had granted my wish, he'd only been cheated all the more. So I praise & thank God everyday for ignoring my wish to not wake up, for giving me the joyous gift of my grandson, who could not look or act anymore like my son......so much sometimes it's almost eerie. At only 8months old, he has no memory of his daddy, but the things they have in common- some very obvious, some so bizarre, that I truly believe with all my heart & soul- God gave us the BEST parts of our son to live on thru his son. I will miss & love my son until my last breath- but until then, I spend every moment I can with my lil guy and he lights up our world! To think of all the things I would've missed....makes me shudder. So YES, God DOES NOT make mistakes, HUMANS DO. My son made the worst mistake EVER, but he did not have enough life experience to handle all that was thrown on him by, I'll put it in the nicest way possible, by the baby mama. So while we still grieve for him, between God carrying us thru this journey we could've never made without Him, and the most special gift He gave us in our grandson, I gave ALL MY Thanks & Gratitude to my God for not granting my wish. For giving me the strength & courage to face each day, and now to be here to spend so much time with our grandson, sharing old memories, & making brand new ones ..... taught me God never leaves us or forsakes us in our time of need. Same thing happened he turned 53 and started acting strange lots of primping just to go supervise at a factory 11-7 ...my mother was termanilly I'll I was out taking care of her and he was renting motels one town over she was 21 ..him cheating it hurt but what hurt me to my core was him sitting on our sofa telling me he had feelings for this 21 year old something in me at that very moment broke in me it's been 10 years today it seems like yesterday I wanted to die it felt like my life light in my soul had been snuffed out..after 10 years I do think of him when this day rolls around ..but if not for my father in heaven I would not be here now ...I'm a wonderful work in progress I made the mistake and looked and depended on john to show me my worth and value..he threw me aside like a dirty dish towel..Jesus christ in him I found my Worth I'm taking baby steps what's the hurry right..I'm enjoying smiling again ...

Was with the greatest Lady the best friend I could ever have for 38 1/2 years then I found out that she been having an affair for over 3 years. Great artistic video. Amazing choice to walk through the devastated fire torn area. Can't miss that symbolism. Love to see a follow up video of the heart that has healed in the same location, because now that area is probably lush and beautiful. At least, that is how many areas bounce back after a fire. When we feel at a complete loss in our sadness, there is healing and regeneration that can come. I've found it in God's Grace.

I keep listening to several of your songs. Even thou I know I'm not the only one it's stopped me from losing it. Married 23 yrs to who I thought was a soul mate. I got sick, it took 1 1/2 yrs to heal all seeing read flags. Once I healed I knew I couldn't ignore anymore. Long story short to find out he had 2 other women and made 2 babies all behind my back.(Being a Truck Driver helped him) I gave him everything and lost my WHOLE self to keep him happy. To sum it up Narcissist ...... It's devastating not getting closure and knowing I never will. The biggest question why did you take 23 years of my life.... Then throw me away like a piece of garbage. I filed for divorce, he's stalling but gave a ring to the 2nd women.... I say THANK YOU for all your meaningful, heartfelt, songs. Had I not found you I'm not sure where I'd be today!
